The vision for our hitting training tool began in 2016, during a pivotal moment in my baseball career. After hitting .246, .186, and .273 with a total of three home runs over three seasons, I knew I had to find a better way to improve my swing and save my career.

Traditional training methods weren’t giving me the feel I needed—specifically, the ability to turn the barrel instead of pushing to the ball. Desperate for solutions, I improvised with whatever I could find: resistance bands, Pilates wheels, small tires, and even the legs of a furniture chair.

These makeshift tools helped me get closer to the feeling I was searching for, but it wasn’t until 2020—after my playing career ended and I transitioned to coaching—that I realized I could help others achieve this feeling faster. I wanted to create a tool that would streamline the process for athletes looking to build a better swing.

Armed with a vision, I headed to Home Depot, bought some boards, screws, and halex, and built the first prototype in my kitchen using old bats as handles. For a couple of years, I refined and tested the tool, seeing its impact on athletes’ swings firsthand.

Now, in 2024, after polishing the design and perfecting the concept, we’re ready to share it with the world. Our mission is simple: to help athletes of all levels feel and develop a better swing.
